Gukanne Viasny is a national holiday that dates back to pagan times, when people “called” for spring. This national holiday is calendarly associated with the church feast of the Annunciation. The motif of intertwining ecclesiastical and folk was the idea behind this work. In it, the mountain world and the world of the dead are depicted on different tiers, united by a frieze of birds - larks. In the mountain world, the Virgin and angels in the Garden of Eden, among flowers and animals. In the world, people celebrate the arrival of spring by singing and dancing. The plot part is framed by a wide frame of spring flowers from Belarus.
