SUNDASALANX, OR HOMMAGE A HENRI MATISSE. Diptych 2022.
Most of the 2-part composition is made up of the original white canvas, which conveys a state of peace and quiet. In contrast, the motif of light movement is revealed by a figure that originates on the right side and extends to the left side of the diptych. White, gray and pink strokes on the right side of the composition are designed to give it some weight and materiality. The whole composition is based on the contrasts: big/small, dynamic/static, air/material.
