#1 from the Memory Gaps project

Memory gaps are my therapy for regaining happy childhood memories. My childhood did not look happy in my memory; first of all, episodes with negative events popped up in my head. Photography has always helped shape my perception of the world, and when I got my hands on our small family photo archive, I immersed myself in shaping my childhood story. I interfere with archival images using materials that can be found at home: beads, threads, drawing pens, construction sets, flowers. I'm filling in the gaps in my story, the mysteriously empty front pages.
