The African lion was written as part of the Endangered Animals project.
I was deeply touched by this topic — I wanted to dedicate several of my works to it. The result is a small series of 6 watercolor paintings:
Amur tiger
Black rhino
Polar bear
African lion
Giant panda
Red wolf
In the portraits of these handsome men, I wanted to convey their inherent character and character.
They're all different, but that's why they're beautiful.
And yet they're on the verge of extinction...
