The title “Alpha and Omega” (A & Ω), as the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet, symbolizing god the beginning and end of all things, reveals, at first glance, the religious meaning of the painting. But a peculiar vertical column of rays that passes through parts of matter, as well as two side arcs, like pulses of energy, may lead to the idea of an occurrence or an end natural nature of the world.
