The first part of the Art Pipeline diptych reflects the creation of the information occasion.
Time magazine epitomizes all the world's news media. Red Cross Time celebrated reports of the elimination of “enemies of humanity” (Hitler, Ben-Laden, Hussein). And what is happening today in the real world (market) of art, I can see from my mirror as profanitization about the destruction of art, as an enemy. And all that people who are not involved in this movement can do is, to varying degrees, protest planes out of these profanations while sitting in their mirror.
The second part of the Art Pipeline diptych reflects the creation of a mass consumption product.
The seeming ease with which new works of art are born creates in the mind of the “consumer” a conforming attitude to art as any mass product.
