Bacha Bazi (from Persian. “playing with boys”) is a common practice in Afghanistan of involving boys in child prostitution, in so-called “dancing”
The boy is taught to dance and sing for six months before he is allowed to perform, and when he is considered ready, they dress him up in colorful shiny outfits, put on makeup and put on a show
