The composition of three ceramic vases “Birch Story” was created specifically for the “Tryn-Grass” exhibition. Birch trees are one of the most recognizable symbols of Russian land and the beauty and elegance of Russian nature. In culture, birch has been associated with completely different phenomena - the birth of the new, the timelessness of the eternal or the dead. In pagan culture, it was believed that the soul of the dead moved into a birch tree, and after the birth of a baby, it was customary to plant a young tree.
