The painting is made in watercolor technique from nature on the Braslav Lakes. Issued in a passport, the color of the glass frame is negotiable. Most likely, this body of water would remain nameless if it were not for the rounded shape, which makes it really resemble an eye. A local legend tells of a church that allegedly fell into the ground together with people (either for their sins, or vice versa, in order to escape from enemies). Apparently, such discrepancies have led to the fact that the reservoir has a second name — Devil's Eye. You can also hear the version that the lake was created as a result of a meteorite fall.
