In my picture you can see a mischievous rooster who wakes everyone up with his ringing voice. I saw this pretty man at the zoo with poultry. He gets to the top of his house, pulling his neck beautifully, as if putting himself up for display. I wanted to convey his combative character with watercolors and pastel shallowes. Bright blue strokes and a wild red color give a magical character to the painting, it seems as if the rooster came out to us from any Russian folk tale.
