Trusting

In the picture with a black background, hands are a symbol of help and support. The blind artist wanted to tell her story of going outside for the first time when strangers reached out to help cross the street. At that moment, for the first time, she felt that she was not alone, that a bystander could reach out at the right moment to help. This is a story about the trust that comes to a stranger — be it a volunteer, a doctor, or a passer-by. This is a story about the feeling of kindness and intangible protection we can feel in the world. You never know what that trust will lead to. But without it, nothing happens at all.
