The work is represented by a diptych, each side measuring 90x90 cm. The work is textured. This work presents nine worlds in the branches of Yggdrasil, the World Tree in German-Scandinavian mythology, the giant ash tree in which the Scandinavians imagined the universe. Ravens fly and sit against the background of the tree; these birds appear in the legends of many ancient peoples. In German-Scandinavian mythology, the raven is a revered bird whose images adorned the banners of Viking ships. Crows are also the inseparable companions of the supreme god Odin.
