The horizon line is elusive, changing and alluring. When I was a young child, I tried to get to it several times. Today I like to depict this strip on canvas, preserving its variability and mystery. The “Horizons” series of works is a place of rest, relaxation and meditation. Lavender Horizon is the first work in this series. Each next “horizon” will have its own mood and color.
Pearlescent acrylic paint and strokes applied to the textured paste enliven the picture with a slight shimmer. The painting was created in a single copy.
