Grishka

In modern culture, the value of a work lies not only in its idea and execution, but also in the history of its creation and the author's personal story. Against the background of a certain psycho-emotional state, I often have very vivid dreams, and they often form the basis for artistic works, and this is also the case in this case. The work “Grishka” is painted in a mixed technique of acrylic and screen painting. The foreground depicts the recognizable figure of Grigory Efimovich Rasputin. Church paraphernalia in the form of a candle, a glass of wine and a halo create a frightening and almost iconic image of this historical figure.
