In one beautiful summer, when I was traveling around Spain and walking around the local street, I accidentally saw an unusual giant cactus peeking through the fence. It was juicy green, and its processes resembled the palm of an adult. Surprised by what I saw, I really wanted to draw it. Bold smears of pastel crayons conveyed the colourful mood of the Spanish day.
This painting was selected by the Russian National Society of Pastelists of Russia and exhibited at the exhibition in Moscow, as well as was included in the catalog.
