The Church of God was built between 1587 — 1593 and designed by Italian architect Giovanni Maria Bernardoni at the order of Nicholas Christopher Radziwiłł's “Orphans”. The first service was held on September 14, 1593, and in 1601 the church consecrated the Papal Nuncio of Claudio Rangoni.
