The triptych is dedicated to places in the village. Shchorsy, where the Khreptovich Palace, the park and the farm yard were previously located. The picture is based on the idea of a connection between the past and the present, between cultural heritage and the natural cycle. The terms “chthonic” and “Chthonian” come from the ancient Greek word khthn, meaning “earth”. The Earth is an element where everything returns at the end of its life cycle.
