The Red Church is one of the symbols not only of Minsk but also of Belarus. It attracts both with its history and unusual architecture... The story behind this painting is also not quite common. On a clear autumn day, when I was driving by, I was impressed by the following: bright yellow trees, the afternoon sun, the blue sky, against which the silhouette of the church stands out, the shady part of which reflects the sky blue... Fortunately, I had a notebook and a pencil with me, and within a dozen minutes I drew from memory and described in words what inspired me so much.
