A bright still life with light abstraction and expressive strokes.
It was painted from life, which was a jug brought in hand luggage from Crete (Greece). The pomegranate came from Kemer (Turkey) as a sign of attention from a local gardener.
The jug contains a huge bouquet of mimosa, whose flowers have merged into a warm yellow cloud.
The picture is rather big and attracts attention well.
