“Lyasun”

“Lyasun” is an image of the spirit master of the forest that came from Slavic mythology and is embodied in this sculpture. A tree from the deep and dark swamps of the Belarusian forests, threads intertwined into webs, leaves made using the Old Belarusian weaving technique, macrame. This sculpture includes not only mythological images and legends, but also a craft that is native to us.
