The picture is painted from the photo. I didn't like cats all my life, but by the time I was 30, something changed in me and I started painting them. They attracted me for their independence, character, which is sometimes difficult to understand, grace and beauty.
The painting is painted on canvas on cardboard, pre-primed with a texture paste. This makes the painting look like an oil painting, but it's acrylic.
It is varnished.
