I painted a still life with pineapple, fruits and flowers by the Flemish artist Jan Frans van Dahl (1764 — 1840), who worked in France, using the multi-layered technique of ancient masters with oil paints on canvas on a stretcher. To create a professional copy of the painting, I collected information about this artist in order to better understand the author's painting style.
