Bride

Artist Irina Kotova explores the cause of a deadly disease. This installation is very personal; the artist was faced with a terrible diagnosis — cancer. In her installation “The Bride”, the artist shows how inner pain, depicted in the form of a rounded bundle of interlacing, is getting bigger, while the woman herself is getting smaller. This installation is interactive. The viewer is given the opportunity to try on a dress with “pain”. The purpose of creating the installation “The Bride” is to raise an important issue of the value of life and setting life priorities.
