I've always liked daffodils. They are one of the very first flowers to start blossoms in early spring.
I wanted to be a pot of narcissus bulbs. These wonderful flowers emit a cheerful yellow color. Early morning rays gently illuminate the petals. The delicate watercolor background takes you somewhere into the distance. In the painting you can see yellow splashes of pastel crayons that sort of combine flowers and watercolor blue. Daffodils seem to rejoice in a beautiful new day.
