Cloud City

An installation is a reflection on the architecture of the past and the future. This imaginary city of the future grows out of various forms, laws, and knowledge of the past. On the floor, there are small houses in the roots of a tree that act as cities of the past. Threads run from them like a tree trunk to the floating city of the future. The plating uses a bunch of sheets of student albums on the history of architecture. All together, it forms one “tree”, where all elements are equally important and interconnected. Where the future is nothing but light from the past taking bizarre forms in the context of new discoveries.
