Boitata is a huge black snake from Brazilian mythology that is nocturnal and is the most powerful creature in the Amazon jungle. Boitata, also called the Serpent with the Thousand Eyes, has many fiery eyes located not only on her head, but throughout her body. Boitata, almost blind during the day, is all-seeing at night.
