A monument in honor of Belarusian folk poet Jakub Kolas. In 1972 (to commemorate the 90th anniversary of his birth), sculptures of Jakub Kolas and heroes of his works were installed on the central part of Jakub Kolas Square.
Jakub Kolas is considered a national hero in Belarus. He is one of the country's most prominent literary figures and a folk poet of Belarus. The figure of Jakub Kolos settles on stone, delving into his thoughts. The height of the sculpture is eight metres.
