The last rays

“The Last Rays” oil on canvas, 40x50. This work is based on sketches of the sunset sky over the Dnieper. The sky is entirely made using the impasto technique, while water, on the contrary, uses the alla prima technique to create a contrast between heaven and earth. This work will perfectly fit into any classic or modern interior, depending on the frame in which the work is framed, because as you know, every diamond needs a cut.
