Blue is nature, the depth of the ocean, the clarity of the sky, the source of life. Red is a person, his passion, energy, and his desire for progress.
The voluminous forms of oil, frozen on canvases, flow down in bundles, like blood or oil seeping through the layers of the earth. These forms are a metaphor for relationships: nature gives its resources, and people take, transform them, but also upsets the delicate balance.
The work encourages the viewer to think about symbiosis, which can be both harmonious and destructive. What do we leave behind? Will we be able to maintain this connection without breaking it completely?
