Shine

The sculpture, made in a combined technique, consists of a flattened sphere, the surface of which is a dark texture inlaid with gold smalt and interspersed with warm and cold shades of smalt, concentrating in the center and gradually dissolving towards the edge of the silhouette. The mosaic content of the circle creates a flickering effect as the viewer approaches. The conceptual component consists in referring the artistic object to celestial bodies that emit and reflect light, such as the sun and moon, as well as other cosmic bodies.
