The Belarusian SSR was the “assembly shop” of the union, which housed the most technological production that supplied their products throughout the vast country. In the 1990s, after realignment, entire industrial industries came into decline with no chance of recovery. But the main victims of the market economy were not the current ghost plants, but the workers who gave them most of their lives, left only with a lack of understanding how to live on.
