I want it back.
It's not quite warm yet, smelling in spring and nearly summer dusk, the first thunderstorm of dried-up April mud. And in the evening of May, the scents of lilac, mauve, white bunches float through the air. Fragrances that took 20 years ago, during the long summer days when they still seemed like that.
