Veles

Veles (Volos) is one of the most famous and most mysterious Deities of the pagan pantheon of ancient Slavs. He is credited with being responsible for humans and the animal world in general. Many modern researchers differ in their conclusions, but one thing is for sure - Veles was glorified by our most distant ancestors. Some call him the animal God, the patron saint of cattle, others say that cattle God protects man's animal nature, and others talk about his afterlife, his task to meet souls
