“Remembrance”

The diptych “Memories” consists of two paintings, united by the theme of my great-grandmother's life. In the first picture, I painted a portrait of a young girl: she has a gentle face, a soft look, and a barely noticeable smile. The colors of this work are restrained, monochrome. As a basis, I took a photo of my great-grandmother's youth, where she was 20 years old. In the second portrait, I depicted a great-grandmother at 94 years old, and her features look like a young girl, but it's hardly noticeable. I painted my face realistically, with strong age-related changes. Depicting with a Realistic face covered with a wrinkle mesh a symbol of roads and ways of life
