Swamp ecosystems are 7 to 15 times more efficient at producing oxygen and absorbing carbon dioxide than forests. They also play an important role in preserving biological diversity and are home to many rare fauna and flora. Many of the “inhabitants” of the Red Book have been preserved precisely because of this ecosystem. The author reminds viewers of those animals that, despite all efforts, remain under threat of extinction. It is still difficult to meet them and even more to examine them closely outside the reserve. Thanks to the project, everyone can see a look from the Red Book.
