Behind the blinders

The work was done in mixed media. The film is inspired by the rigor of social constructs that cause pachyderm and indifference to surrounding events and problems. Compared to the outside world, Aphrodite is petrified, deaf, and dumb. The problems of the surrounding world are presented satirically through cartoon characters. The central object is a portrait of Aphrodite. Her side vision is limited to blinders, a device commonly used to limit a horse's field of vision, which has also become the etymological source for the word “blindness.”
