Notes of the Exiled Sun Part 3

I went underground and even here everything was full of people: they were crowding, pushing, and no one could stop looking at me. Interestingly, did any of them feel something was amiss? Was it not itchy in their heads that this morning was different from all the days before? Or are they so preoccupied with their daily routine that they did not notice that there was no sun in the sky? Perhaps they would not have noticed the end of the world. We'd get out of bed and run to work.
