September `11, `1986. Born in Minsk City (BY). Artist, Art Director, Screenwriter & Film Director. Founder of Dee-Mitre McGelee Studio®/DMCreative®. Preface: In `2013 Dee-Mitre McGelee debuted as the director of the feature art-house film “The Ruby Black”, which premiered in the `66th Festival de Cannes Court Métrage. The film was invited to more than one hundred world film festivals, and had an interest in the circle of professional critics. The personal exhibition of the conceptual art series “Flesh Language” was timed to the release of the film, as an addition to the semantic and stylistic load of the script embodied on the screen. In his works there is absolute organicity. He likes himself, that`s why there is peace in this world. Many people lack this confidence. Dee-Mitre McGelee`s works are in private collections of connoisseurs of contemporary art all over the world. “Black is not a choice. Black is a style. I think that art – a world in which the idea of infinity has become a real value. The design of black and minimal color palette, the esoteric character creation and a complete lack of boundaries in the art, reminiscent of the absolute identity and becoming a kind of new positions of contemporary art. In my opinion, attention to detail, creating strong iconic images, may shock and fascinate in equal measure. The dynamics generated in this way gives a bitter or sweet taste. Infinite visual walk in the ability to reach a critical level, it should be and is the most important value of abstract art.
