The painting “Buddhism” is from the series “Religion of Color”.
The task was to tell the viewer about the role of color in religion, to interest people in the symbolism of color. Ask the question, “What is the significance of color in religion?” This work depicts the basic colors of Buddhism. Each color has a different meaning in religion. For example, orange-ocher in Buddhism is the color of humility, renunciation of material goods and human prophets. Gold is a sunny color that symbolizes life, truth, immortality, faith, and nirvana. Blue represents eternity and loyalty.
