The painting “For You” depicts abstract flowers in a vase with sharp geometric shapes. This still life with flowers is an allegory of love: both beautiful and pricky.
The painting is painted on polyethylene film and represents the “recycled art” trend, the essence of which is not only to reuse things, but also to question consumer culture and change the way we look at familiar things through creativity. Early polyethylene was used by the artist as a substrate on which about a hundred different paintings were painted, traces of which became the basis of the painting.
