The Temple of Silence

Monks have long gone to caves from the world in search of solitude, and lived there in shutters — stone cells. There was a tiny window in the wall, and every three days other monks would bring them prosphora and new candles. The painting “Temple of Silence” creates an opportunity to touch and visit a place where everyone can hide from visual noise and get to know themselves and their soul.
