Water is what we love to look at when we think about or relax. We also often draw parallels between our emotions and different states of water: you can be as calm as the surface of a lake, break out like a thunderstorm, or be cold-blooded like a block of ice. My new series of works, “The State of Water”, is devoted to visualizing these parallels. Through plasticity and the rhythm of the lines, I look for different states of water as reflections of our emotions.
The sea is a large mass of water; it is fascinating, constantly moving, has its own plan and has no doubt.
