The woman behind the sewing seems to me always has some sacred meaning and can't help but relate thoughts to some betrayals, legends and ancient myths. That's the way I had with this picture as well - the image of the girl behind the stavels was inspired by the image of Moira from mythology. So she's sewing, sewing, and suddenly something distracts her attention... This is a very moving and simultaneously disturbing moment.
