This short series was made as part of the exhibition “A Serious Anniversary. The sausage in the dough is 150 years old.”
The project looked at insignificant but familiar things that have been in the lives of many people for a long time. Celebrating anniversaries attaches particular value to these insignificant things, and their very small role gives a lot of room for creativity. The project has become a kind of modernist continuation of pop art, as it also focuses on objects of mass culture. At the same time, it did not limit the authors in their approaches to solving the topic. In my case, there was a mix of abstraction and surrealism.
