Silk quilted book “Town in a snuffbox”

The illustrations in the book are hand-painted using the “batik” technique on natural satin silk and quilted with cotton filling. The pages with the text are made on polyester, the text is printed by sublimation printing, the pattern around the text is painted by hand. The book consists of 14 textile pages (7 sheets). The main character of Vladimir Odoevsky's fairy tale “The Town in the Snuffbox”, the boy Misha, makes an exciting journey into the magical and exciting world of a music box, where he meets many interesting characters and learns the basics of mechanics.
