This art object is an imitation of a 1:100 matchbox and was created as part of the TINY GALLERY project. The TINY GALLERY project is primarily an installation that simulates a modern art gallery, where matchboxes with paintings are used as canvases on the walls. Then the idea was born to play with scale and not only “reduce” the gallery space to the size of a box, but also to “enlarge” the boxes to the size of a familiar canvas with painting. Inside this box are knitting threads that support the idea and title of the work and continue its color palette.
