A three-hour walk northwest of the base camp (2600m) of northern Elbrus (5642m) lies the incredibly beautiful Shaukam River Valley. This is a view of Elbrus and Mount Sirch on a summer morning from Shawkam's north shoulder, a pass to the valley that is behind you in the picture. I would recommend actually going there, to both Mount Elbrus and Shawkam, where you should go!
