Banga is the dog's name in Bulgakov's famous novel The Master and Margarita, a symbol of true devotion. This is a wonderful image that you want to return to as a source of unconditional friendship, love and acceptance. The Latin inscription Cave Canem, which literally translates as “watch out for the dog”, is a kind of warning sign for strangers and uninvited guests. This work is also a reference to the time in which, as we imagine, Banga lived. The mosaic is made of various types of marble: it is an eternal, non-fading natural material that echoes the eternity of the depicted plot
