Go and see

“Come and See” is a well-known phrase that refers, first, to the revelation of the Apostle John (more commonly known as “The Apocalypse”), and secondly, to Elem Klimov's film of the same name. The mosaic represents an open human eye that cannot close its eyes and is forced to see everything: both the horror and the beauty of this world. The eye is depicted using timeless materials: stone (mostly marble) and specially sintered opaque colored glass (smalt)
