Nine dreams of the forest

Nine Dreams of the Forest is a series of nine square mosaics arranged into a single square, representing a “storyboard” of dreams. Each fragment is an association frame, a flash of sleep that is fading away in memory. The inclusions of a large number of gold and mirror elements give the work a sense of mystery, fabulousness, and jewellery. The dominant features of every “dream” are the elements of natural dried wood, which have some similarities to bone, revealing the image of the forest as a living organism that lives its own life, as important as that of humans.
